Sure you have seen these Remco dolls before, maybe even owned a set. But have you seen the original Sears mailer box? This is the set that could only be ordered through the Sears catalog in 1964. Instead of using individual window boxes produced by Remco, Sears used a square cardboard box with green writing to identify the contents. This extremely rare box measures 5” x 5” x 5” and has the original brown cardboard divider. There is a small piece of cardboard missing on one of the top flaps, but the box still grades a strong VG+. The 4.5” figures are complete with their instruments. There is some minimal wear to the gold detailing, but none of the instruments are broken. These are the soft body versions, and nobody has had a hair cut. Don’t let this rare set slip away... ($1,100.-$1,300.)
