Selcol in England released this totally 'fab' Ringo drum set in 1964 during the height of Beatlemania. The drum skin features Ringo’s face, his hands holding a drumstick, and his printed autograph. No tears or cracks are present. The orange and burgundy plastic drum is complete with no broken or missing parts, but does have two small cracks in the side which are not very noticeable. All labels on the drum are present and in nice condition. Also included are the original wooden tripod stand with nylon fittings and two wooden drum sticks. A reproduction black and white copy of the instructions are also included. The drum is in excellent condition and measures approximately 14” round x 6.75” high. The original cardboard box contains the inner cardboard packing and the “New Beat” paper label with the Beatles faces and the “Ringo Starr Drum Set” label on the top. The box grades G to VG overall with creasing to the lid and measures 19.5” x 19.5” x 9”. Part of the lower cardboard handle is missing which is common. This is a scarce opportunity to buy an original Beatles drum in a box, especially this quality. An impressive display piece! ($2,225.-$3,000.)
